At The Dogfather Grooming Salon, our story is not simply about grooming dogs. It is about family, tradition, and a lifelong connection with dogs.We were born and raised around dogs, and caring for them has been part of our family for generations. Our passion for the canine world began with our father, Felipe Mares, and our uncle, Justo Mares, who were introduced to the canine environment during their time in the Mexican Army.

Our Story Began Long Before The Dogfather Grooming Salon

That experience became one of the first chapters of a family tradition that would continue through the years. Our love and knowledge of dogs were passed from one generation to another, through parents, uncles, cousins, and nephews. Today, that same passion lives on through The Dogfather Grooming Salon in Folsom, California.
